When I started my baby registry, I was so confused by the Sophie buzz ... I indicate seriously? More than 20 bucks for a teething toy? WHY? But the testimonials raved about Sophie, so I figured just what the heck & added it. Sure enough, somebody bought this for my little girl & oh. my. lord. She LOVED it from the very starting. It was the very first toy that she revealed any type of preference for or interest in. She gnawed Sophie's legs, ears & nose without mercy for the very first 8 months of her life. So yeah ... Sophie's worth it. My daughter is now 14-months-old & not chews Sophie ... now she places her in her toy handbag & holds her around:)

2 words of care:
1. If you completely immerse Sophie, she stops squeaking until she's entirely dried. I cleaned her & right away handed her back to my little girl ... you can just picture the despair that followed with she squeezed Sophie & there was only a small, unfortunate gurgling sound.
2. Sophie's squeak is SO loud. Do not enable her to accompany you into church, a meeting or anywhere that loud squeaking isn't smiled upon. I've needed to eradicate Sophie even more than as soon as in a bistro when I begin getting the hairy eyeball from fellow clients.

My little girl is virtually 5 months old and she likes Sophie!

One of the most effective things about Sophie is that she is easy to hold onto (both because of the shape and texture). My little girl especially enjoys to chew on Sophie's horns and ears, and additionally her face. My daughter suches as to utilize her legs for keeping her; not generally for chewing.

Additionally, Sophie squeaks! I didn't understand she was a squeaky toy until I pulled her from her box.

Our dog is very curious about Sophie, too. Whenever I squeak Sophie for my daughter, the dog truly advantages up. I'm going to have to beware not to leave Sophie out, due to the fact that I think our dog would most likely claim her if I'm not cautious.

Highly suggested! This is a great teething toy!

When we got home from playschool today, we had a bundle waiting by the door. It was Sophie !! My daughter is 9 weeks old and till today she had no toys! I opened the box and held Sophie in front of my baby. She gazed intently at the attractive little toy and her hands began to open and close. I placed Sophie where infant could possibly reach and she got hold of her! Perfect size for a baby toy and so soft! I could picture it will certainly be fantastic when child gets to teething too. I could see just how some call it a glorified dog toy, but it is not made of the same stinky rubber as a dog toy and the paint on Sophie is food grade. I think the rate is a little high but we believe in only buying the children a few well made quality toys instead of a bunch of low-cost plastic junk.

I like this toy and will offer it to every new parent that I know! This is the only toy with noise that we possess that does not have clear packaging tape on the presenter! (Every other toy gets the "tape treatment" once it enters the home!) New music quality is great and the tracks play for longer than the majority of toys, so you don't need to reach over and hit the button as frequently!

We never ever make a road travel with out it. It has helped soothe our baby given that he was 2 months old. He's now four months old and this still holds his attention beautifully and he loves it also more now that he has identified the best ways to push the button. We call it the child whisperer and have accomplished it to EVERY expecting parent we understand.

This is our new favorite game! Our ladies are 9 and 4 1/2, and we play it every weekend. At initially, I thought it was a little tough for the kids (the 2 - and three-star cards are still way too tough for them, AND me!), however it was just challenging for me. My left brain kept wishing to take over the building procedure, but the kids have no difficulty at all and have actually gotten rather good at building and suspecting. Even the four-and-a-half year old can easily play. So much fun!
